Landscaping Works to start on Fairland Green

Please be advised that from Monday 15 June, small landscaping works will begin on Fairland Green, adjacent to Fairland Street.

The works will include a new accessible path connecting to the bus stop on Avenue Road, along with a new seating area at the top of the green. Nearby roads and the Avenue Road bus stop will remain open as normal, with minimal disruption expected, mainly during deliveries.

A small number of parking bays will be required by the construction team, Greenscape Services, on Fairland Street and Fairland Hill. Some areas of the green will be temporarily fenced for safety, restricting access for a short period.

The works are expected to take around four weeks and form the first delivery phase of the wider Wymondham Public Realm scheme, co-funded by South Norfolk Council and Wymondham Town Council.
