The monthly Town Council meetings are the fundamental mechanism by which the council operates. The meetings are held in public and parishioners and the press are welcome to attend, listen to the discussion and raise items under the relevant agenda item to ensure that we can represent you well. The meetings are usually held on a Tuesday evening, unless otherwise stated, in the Chamber meeting room. Please always check the agenda for any changes though.

The minutes of the last meeting are in draft format until they have been approved at the following meeting.
Requesting an Item for a Town Council Agenda
Residents are welcome to raise matters they would like the Town Council to consider.
If there is a matter you would like the Town Council to consider, you are welcome to contact one of your Town Councillors to discuss it.
If appropriate, the Councillor can then ask for the item to be submitted to the Town Clerk (Proper Officer), who will review it to make sure it is suitable for Council business and can be included on a future agenda.
Please note:
- Residents cannot add items directly to a Town Council agenda.
- Requests must be made through a Town Councillor.
- Some matters may be better dealt with by the Town Clerk directly or by another organisation or authority.
To help with your request, please include:
- a short description of the issue;
- the location (if relevant);
- why you would like the Council to consider it.
